Cross-country skiing in Val Pusteria – the most beautiful cross-country tracks in the Aurina Valley
Cross-country skiing is a very popular and relaxing alternative to alpine skiing. The Val Pusteria offers kilometres of wonderful cross-country tracks embedded in the enchanting landscape of the Aurina Valley.
Try the Riva round track for example. This 15 km long track leads across an open area and combines easy and difficult passages.
The sunny slope in Casere is 12 km long and leads through a wonderful mountain landscape. This track is prepared for classic cross country skiing and skating.
In the biathlon centre in Anterselva you can enjoy wonderful round tracks and even ski across the ice-covered Anterselva Lake to the bottom of the Staller Sattel Mountain Pass.
This area is part of Dolomiti Nordic Ski, hence, you can enjoy them with only one ski pass and also find cross-country schools and ski rental outlets.
